I started building a model of lisbons elevador da bica some time ago. unfortunately its not finished yet...

Pour avoir vu "en vrai" l'elevador da Bica, je trouve ce diorama absolument enthousiasmant !

La photo de la porte de la station "basse" est particulièrement évocatrice (dans la réalité, elle se "fond" dans les immeubles de la rue et on passe facilement devant sans la remarquer...).

On voit aussi sur le funiculaire les deux pantographes pour la prise du courant d'éclairage, dont nous avons parlé avec pélican il n'y a pas longtemps dans la rubrique "BD"...

Wonderfull work Ralf, it looks very real, I work in Lisbon and have been in these elevators a few times, I think your diorama captures the essence of the place very well.

i've been two times to lisbon some years ago, and fell in love with this beautiful city. so i decided to build a little "lisborama" for my flat here in germany. everything is scratch build out of styrene sheet (even the cable car itself) after city maps, tourist fotos that i found on the net and air photographs. so its 100% scale 1:87. the cable car works and can be pulled up and down by a small electric motor.
fortunately many tourists take pictures of this typical scene in lisbon.
but unfortunately i still miss pictures of the most important buildings in the centre of the diorama on the small place "largo de santo antoninho" , to finish it. most tourists take pictures of the same scenes...
so here's the plan of the entire diorama:

Thanks for the pictures and the insight about the diorama, I can get you the pictures you are still missing in the Largo de Santo Antoninho, it may take a few weeks but I can get there. Do you need something specific or just overall pictures?

I marked the missing buildings in the plan, and the views that would help me to rebuild the situation with red colour:

most tourists concentrate on the yellow cable car, and ignore the buildings in the background...

so if you ever go there, I would be very thankful if you think of me, but please "no stress" at all. thanks alot,
